      You could just use a wireless video sender, if you are not using HDMI anyway, these can be had for a tenner off eBay..

      Might save you some headaches trying to solve something that looks like it's not possible, and even if it was I expect it would be a significant drain on the CPU of the Pi..

      @thomen I used the controller listed on the top of this thread. It was easy to setup and no drivers to install. I used 2 of them to map 2 joystick and 16 buttons

      @enlikil I thought about installing 4-ways on the vertical ends as that would satisfy a lot of classics. My problem is that I have mutually exclusive controller needs. For example, if I did this, how could I play 4 player Gauntlet, or use all four sticks in two-player Smash TV? Without a switching joystick it's a compromise I guess.
